On Friday May 9th we had our pre-drywall meeting with our PM. It was very uneventful as he just confirmed our selections and walked around the house. We were informed that nothing has been done on our house since the Wednesday before and won't have anything done till at least Monday or Tuesday because the PM didn't schedule the inspections correctly. Damn it!!! We asked him about moving the closing date up and he said the pre-settlement walk through is still on June 27th and we can close the week after. This doesn't make any sense on why it will take 60 days from now to finish the house when the timeline from Ryan Homes and our sales rep says the Palermo is a 67 day build from when they break ground on a well timed out build. But anyways, I will quit my rant and enjoy a donut that we bought for the invisible crew working on our house.

ReplyDeleteThat is the vent for the hood vent. It is at a standstill now. Nothing has been touched since Wednesday. I was hoping our closing would be moved up, but our pm still states early July. Which is crazy slow since the other palermo blogs usually close from 30 days to 45 days post drywall meeting.
